The Cheshire and Lancashire Life food and drinks awards 2011 held at the Midland Hotel Manchester on Tuesday 25th October proved to be a resounding success.
Over three thousand pounds was raised on the evening for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.
Doug Brady HiFi were proud to support such an important event which highlights some fantastic people behind the best restaurants, boutique hotels and specialist food suppliers within the region whilst raising money for such an important charity.
Doug Brady Hi-Fi were one of the main sponsors supporting the event and had the great pleasure in presenting the Lancashire Life Restaurant of the Year award which was received by an ecstatic team from the much admired Nutters Restaurant in Rochdale.
Doug Brady Hi-Fi were also very pleased to team up with Rega on the night to promote the Rega brand to over 350 attendees at the event with one lucky couple winning a Rega system.
Charles and Juno Lowther who were attending the event because one of their businesses ‘The George and Dragon’ at Clifton had been entered in to the ‘Lake District Life Dining Pub of the Year’ awards category, were very pleased with their surprise win and couldn’t wait to install the new equipment.
