To reduce the effects of mechanical vibration (from, for example, a CD or DVD drive), we offer a range of isolation devices that can dramatically improve the clarity and resolution of your hifi system. Something that is often overlooked in turntable design is the interaction between the stylus, the record and platter. When playing a record, the stylus accelerates at up to 20,000g! The vibration this generates is reflected from the bottom of the record and is then picked up by the stylus and reproduced as a colouration. The Funk Achromat solves this problem by absorbing this energy and, due to the millions of bubbles within, loses it as heat.
