The Sonos CONNECT:AMP adds true audiophile sound quality to a wireless streaming Sonos multi-room system. All you need is your existing speakers and the Sonos Connect:AMP will do the rest. With 55watts of amplifying power the CONNECT:AMP will effortlessly drive your floor standing speakers, in-ceiling speakers, outdoor speakers or bookshelf speakers.
The Connect:AMP has wireless connectivity built in to it to connect to your wireless router. You can choose to hard wire it to your router (flat Ethernet cable supplied) or connect wirelessly to your wireless router, to do this you will need a Sonos Bridge. To improve the connection it is recommended that a Sonos Bridge is used as the initial connection to your router if you have a home which is large or has thick walls or you are planning on having a Sonos system throughout your home.
The Sonos CONNECT:AMP needs mains power. It’s easy to set up and has simple front panel buttons to control the Connect volume. Sonos Play:3 and Play5 players (wireless speakers with amps built in) can be added and positioned within other rooms of the home at a later date if you wish to expand the system.
To control the CONNECT just down load a FREE APP for your Android, iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
