The Sonos Play:3 is three speakers and three digital amplifiers in one small and compact unit which will stream and play all your music from any room wirelessly when connected to a SONOS BRIDGE (WIFI) or directly to the router (hard wired ethernet cable supplied). The Play:3 can be positioned vertically or horizontally so it will fit where ever you need it to go.
The Sonos Play:3 only needs power from a mains connection (power cord supplied). You need to make sure that you either have a SONOS BRIDGE or an existing Sonos music net work set up or directly (hard wired) connected to the router. The Sonos Bridge is connected to your router and will send out a signal to your PLAY:3 and it is as simple as that to set up.
You can start with one Sonos Play:3 and expand throughout your home with more Play:3s or Play:5’s wirelessly. Sonos gives you the ability to play different songs in each room or play the same song in every room. You can have two Play:3s in the same room to create a stereo effect, with a left and a right channel speaker just select the stereo pair setting.
To control the Play:3 just down load a FREE APP for your Android, iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
