As our regular customers will know, the technical experts at Doug Brady Hifi have the skills, experience and an unrivalled encyclopaedic knowledge to repair and service your audio investment so that it sounds just as good as it did the day you bought it.
Hi Fi Service & Repairs
We’ve been servicing and repairing record players and hi fi separates since 1960. During that time we’ve accumulated all manner of spare components from old and obscure systems. In fact, it’s our philosophy to never throw anything away, because you don’t know when you might need it.
This allows us to repair and service most audio products, especially turntables, speakers, amplifiers and some CD players. And if we haven’t got the parts, we’re confident that we can find them for you, as long as they are still available.
We are renowned for our expertise in turntables and regularly replace tonearms, change cartridges and reset the suspension. We also strongly recommend a 'set up' test every year on any turntable to ensure its optimum performance.
Amongst our many talents, we can replace the drive units and even the foam surround on speakers. We also re-cap and re-valve amplifiers and make fitting a phono board to an Arcam amp a doddle.
If you’re not sure what the fault is, our technical team will be only too pleased to provide a free assessment in one of our demo rooms and advise you accordingly before acquiring replacement parts and servicing your hi fi equipment.
